Film Description:
In this drawing I wanted to properly illustrate the complicated but loving relationship I have with my Mother. “The Crane and Colt” was made specifically to demonstrate how my mother has raised me within such a complicated world. The leafs upon the trees are filled with dashes to represent the looming anxiety a mother and child would experience living life.The sun, penciled with so many colors, to represent the beautiful future one could have. A life that will eventually set but will be amazing, beautiful, and worth every second. The Crane, tall with age and accustomed to the harsh world, guiding its colt through the world. Assisting the colt to traverse existence, until one day the they must leave their mothers side, and live life on their own.
