Directing Change

The Color of Music

Tags: Monthly Prompt
Film Description:

This painting represents how I feel when I am in my moments of sadness. I tend to shy away and find myself isolated, sitting on the floor. When I’m in moments like these, I feel as though the whole world has lost its color and so have I. However, when I put my headphones in and listen to music, the color slowly returns. Music brings color back into my world when everything seems black and white. So I wanted to express in this painting how music is my anchor when I’m in a negative headspace.
