Suicide Prevention 101 Training for Youth Clubs

We are excited to invite you to this Suicide Prevention Training for Youth Mental Health Clubs! This training lasts one hour and will be open to youth across California that participate in GSA Network, Bring Change to Mind, and/or NAMI On Campus.

Dates:

  • NAMI: Tuesday March 8, 2022, 4 pm- 5 pm
  • GSA Network: Wednesday April 13, 2022, 5 pm - 6 pm
  • BC2M: Tuesday March 29, 2022, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
  • This free training, hosted on zoom, will provide information to youth about suicide prevention, including warning signs for suicide, actions to take if they or someone they know is having suicidal thoughts, and resources. It will include time to ask questions and discuss mental health and suicide prevention with other youth as well as a suicide prevention specialist.

These initiatives are funded by counties through the Mental Health Services Act (Prop 63) and administered by the California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA), an organization of county governments working to improve mental health outcomes for individuals, families and communities.
