Directing Change

Focus On You!

Tags: Monthly Prompt
Film Description:

Mental health can be taken care of in many different type of specific ways. People can cope in more than 100 ways. For me, I've been taking care of my mental health by focusing on myself and trying to get away from things that attacked me mentally such as stress, depression, anxiety, and fear. Just resting myself in my bed, and reading my favorite books help me focus on my inner creative fantasies and help just enough to take my mind off worries. Not only that, I cope with my little buddy named Benji, a white Maltipoo who earned his name of being an emotional support animal to help me relieve myself. Benji's been an amazing best friend to me and has always come up to me whenever I cried, instead of him playing around, he'd walk up to me and lay in my lap it feels as if someone is actually hugging me and telling me it'll be alright. Focusing on yourself can be one of the most helpful things for your mental health, so whoever is reading this. Please drink some water, do your favorite hobbies, and find that buddy or something that can help you take your mind off the worst.
